Itinerary

Day 1: Amazon jungle expeditions 3/ Days 2/ Nights

Stop At: Amazonas Region, Amazonas Region
Day 1

We depart from your hotel or the airport at 6.00 a.m. (after coordination) We begin our tour by driving in a private vehicle for approximately 2.00 hours to the city of Nauta.
From Nauta we take a typical motor boat on a trip of 2 hours and 30 minutes, which will take us through the 2 main rivers of the Amazon, which are the “Marañon River” and the “Ucayali River”. And finally to the reserved area of ​​the Yarapa River, where we will take a brief moment to register. Then we will continue our trip for about twenty (20) more minutes to reach the communal shelter.
After lunch, we started our first activity in order to adapt. By boat, we will observe the river dolphins. In the Amazon we have the opportunity to observe two species of river dolphins, the pink and the gray. And also, enjoy an unparalleled view of the sunset in the jungle.
After dinner we will have a night excursion. We look for nocturnal creatures such as snakes, frogs, spiders, tarantulas and more.

Day 2: Amazon jungle expeditions 3/ Days 2/ Nights

Day 2
We start our day with an early activity around 5 in the morning. At this time, we can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and observe colorful birds such as toucans, macaws (aras), herons and many smaller birds.
After returning to the camp, we have (Continental breakfast)
After breakfast, we will get all our expedition equipment ready to camp in the middle of the jungle following the course of the river. We will look for some strategic areas to camp and explore.
We will take a walk through the jungle. By walking and exploring in the primary forest, we will have the opportunity to find some species of wild animals such as: sloth bears, iguanas, different species, snakes to observe wildlife, your guide will also share his knowledge about learning survival skills,
In the evening we have a night canoe excursion to look for alligators in the river or a nearby lake.
Overnight in the camping area.
if we have a luck we can see jaguar in the wildlife in the riverside and other animal also.

Day 3: Amazon jungle expeditions 3/ Days 2/ Nights

Day 3

We will start our day with another morning activity, at 5.00 am. with the purpose of observing other species of birds typical of the area. And monitor the species of howler monkeys, which are abundant in these areas.
After breakfast, we will visit a lake, where we can find the famous giant water lilies or royal victorias (Victoria Amazónica).
As the last highlight of our 3-day expedition, we are going to fish for some piranhas, the most dangerous and feared fish in the Amazon River. If we are lucky enough to catch one, there is the possibility of trying it for lunch.
After lunch and to return to Iquitos, we take the boat that will take us to the city of Nauta. In Nauta we change to a car that will arrive around 5 pm. to the city of Iquitos.
