Waiheke Island Wine Day Tour
Take a day trip to discover Waiheke - the world renowned 'Island of Wine'. Its right on Auckland's doorstep and just a 35 minute ferry ride across the sparkling waters of the Hauraki Gulf. In our seven years of operation we have met thousands of amazing people from all over the world, treated them to lively commentary and introduced them to some of our quintessential boutique vineyards making delicious wines and offering outstanding tasting experiences. We are fired with a passion for this beautiful place, so come on over and we'll share our little piece of paradise and its secrets with you - your memories will be made of this!!
For the day trip of a lifetime - catch the 10am ferry from downtown Auckland and our friendly host will be waiting to greet you as you disembark.
The tour will start immediately and you'll enjoy jaw-dropping scenery around every corner accompanied by lively commentary on the island's early beginnings and life as it is here today.
We pre-book our three vineyards every day and passionate hosts will be waiting to greet you, ready to share their wealth and depth of knowledge about our amazing wine industry. You will get to taste 15 very different wines and enjoy either small tapas, breads, cheese and olive oils depending on the vineyard. You may even get to try an oyster shooter (your cost) or some local honey!! Truly a fully interactive wine tasting experience like you've never had before.
At around 2pm we will transfer you to the lunch venue of your choice (lunch at your cost) and after lunch we will meet and transfer you to the 4pm or 4:30pm ferry back to the city.
Comfortable air-conditioned vehicles - maximum 10 people and usually 8, leaving 2 - 3 seats free for comfort.
