The ‘REAL’ Local Soweto Tour

Get collected from any Johannesburg and surrounding area hotel or airport by your guide.

Drive into the heart of Soweto where you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with locals in their own environment, in their own home. They will talk you through life in Soweto, how they survive, there family and other insights.  You will then have the opportunity to ask questions.

A visit to a local Shebeen and interact with locals.

Drive around the shanty area of Soweto. 

 Lunch with locals, this is not a commercial lunch.  You will have a lunch in a ‘real’ local restaurant and get to sample Soweto’s food, cooked the local way.

 A walk inside of Nelson Mandela’s former house.

 A visit to the Hector Pierson Museum.
