Seven Churches of Revelation
Offering the visit of Seven Churches of Revelation, the destination consists of the Western side of Turkey and is based on St. Paul’s journey on the prophetic visions of St John the Apostle. Sites of the seven churches revealed in visions, Smyrna, Thyatira, Pergamon, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, and Ephesus will be visited respectively. The spiritual atmosphere, blended with ancient Greco-Roman and Christian architecture is the key point of our visit. Amongst them, are Pergamon’s Asklepion and Red Basilica, Sardis Gymnasium & Synagogue, Ephesus’ legendary Celsus Library, and its colossal theater is some of the exemplary sites of visit during our tour. The acquaintance with Turkish Cuisine during lunchtime and the relaxing experience of the Cleopatra thermal pool visit are amongst the highlights of our tour. Early from morning to morning, we travel through Pergamum. Where we will visit the place of Asclepius. It will be the first church of 7 apocalypse churches. We learn how they have received and we will also read the message of St. John. Entrance fee for Asclepion is include.

We continue through Tyratira (Akhisar). It is a town in the province of Manisa. There were a lot of people. Because it was a great point of finding many crossed streets. Now, the remains of the church remain where we learn the story of Jezebel. Entrance fees for Tyratira is include.

Our next stop will be Sardes. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Lydia, where we found the oldest synagogue in the Aegean region. There was a large community of Jews, a part of Jews became Christians. Etrance fee is include.

We finished our day with the visit of Philadelphia (Alaşehir), its meaning is friendship. They remain for us, the pillars of the church of Tyratira. Entrance fees is include.

Optionally, we have a balloon visit at dawn. We visited 2 places that are so important, a city called Hierapolis. It was advanced in the Roman period. Where we see the travertines and Cleopatra's pool. And its theater with a good view of the entire valley.

We left through the Ephesus Region, where Saint Paul attempted his speech for the inhabitants of Ephesus. We are going to see the largest theater in the province of Asia Minor. We will visit the streets, fountains, temples, and we will feel where the apostles walked. Optionally, you can visit the tomb of Saint John and the house of Virgin Mary where she lived for a period of her life. On this day, we will have a chance to go to the leather shop. Only the Ephesus Ancient City entrance fee include in this tour.

When we return to Izmir, we will visit the church of St. Polycarp who was the student of St. Paul and was protector of the city of Smyrna. Accommodation in Izmir.

Depending on their flight, people who have the short program. They will transfer from hotel to airport. For people who want to add 3 more relaxing days in a hotel next to the Aegean Sea, you can add a sea vacation as well. People who have the reservation until Sunday, free time. Sunday, according to your flight we will transfer from Hotel to Airport.
