Volendam Marken Express Boat Cruise

See the historic harbour/fishing village of Volendam and discover former island Marken on a boat tour that's been running for over 80 years

Enjoy the beautiful coastline of the former Zuiderzee area and learn all about the region's history & development with an audio guide (English/Dutch)

Take your bike on the boat for a small fee, determine your own track and speed and explore each destination

An experience that you will never forget and that is suitable for any age and all weather conditions


Take your vouchers to one of our ticket offices in Volendam or Marken. You can find them in the harbours next to our boats. Our Dock Captain will exchange them for boat tickets and bring you to our captain of the boat.

We depart around every 30 to 45 minutes. A one way trip takes 30 minutes. After your cruise to Volendam or Marken, enjoy exploring the village. Inquire the captain about the last departure time if you want to return with the Marken Express as well.
