Marvel at contacting one of the most impressive reserves in the region in this Excursion to the Celestun Ecological Reserve from Merida. On this one day trip we will depart from your hotel towards:
A wildlife refuge located 96 km from Mérida towards the west, this fishing port, apart from having beaches with crystal clear waters, is an Eco - Tourist paradise. The national park of Celestun keeps an exceptional landscape which is part of the Biosphere Reserve of the same name, it will take a boat trip (1:30 hours) in which you will discover impressive mangroves, the Isla de los Pájaros, the lagoons of Valeosera and Quinitun. In this reserve live impressive species such as white-tailed deer, armadillos, crocodiles, tigrillos, turkeys, ducks and many birds, the main attraction is watching pink flamingos, the eye of fresh water and abundant vegetation. At the end you will move to your hotel in Merida

Day 2: Uxmal and Kabah Archaeological Zone. Stop At: Uxmal, Muna Mexico
Located 80 km from Merida, this zone shows what the Puuc Art have built in the parallelepiped forms of its buildings, with smooth walls and ornate friezes, a great part of the buildings in Uxmal belong to the Classic Mayan period, and some other to the middle late phase, Chaac is represented in multiple buildings, in the Palaces of the Governor, quadrangle of the nuns, The temple of the fortune teller, among others.

In Kabah we could find a quadrangle called Codz-pop what means “petate enrollado”, the arch, Chaac’s Masks, the Temple of the Columns and The Witch’s House.

Day 3: Chichen Itza Archaeological Site TourStop At: Chichen Itza Mexico
Dated with approximately 553 years old, this famous Mayan Pyramids are located between hour and half of distance. The name of Chichen Itza is derived by the Mayan words “Chi” mouth “Chen” Hole, “Itza” The name of the region. This site is divided in three areas, the north group (Toltec), central group (the early period) and the known as El Viejo Chichen (The old Chichen). We will be visiting the first two groups.
