Stop At: Museo del Templo Mayor, Seminario 8 Centro Histórico, Mexico City 06060 Mexico

Our tour will begin where the story of the city begun, that is; the archeological site of Mexico Tenochtitlan. In this place we will see the Templo Mayor, considered to be the axis mundi of the Aztec civilization. The imposing ruins remain now as silent witnesses of our ancient culture. You will discover the importance of this strategic city, not only in terms of its location but also because the power that it consolidated in only 300 hundred years of its history.
The guided visit of the Museum of Templo Mayor is not included during this tour.

Pass By: National Palace, P.za De La Constitucion S/N, Centro Historico De La Cdad. De Mexico, Mexico City 06066 Mexico

We will continue walking in the same area to have an amazing panoramic view of the National Palace, formerly the palace of Moctezuma one of the last “tlatoanis” (meaning emperors in nahuatl language) of the Aztec Empire. Many presidents have live there and it has been the office of political power for many years.

Stop At: Catedral Metropolitana de la Ciudad de Mexico, Calle Plaza de La Constitucion S/N Centro Histórico de la Cdad, Mexico City 06000 Mexico

We will continue the walking and make a break to visit the Metropolitan Cathedral A mixture of different styles like the gothic, the Mexican barroque, herrerian, and finally the neo classic style. Despite the variety of styles, the interior of the cathedral will exceed all your expectations. Different chapels erected to honor different saints of the catholic church, are holders of an invaluable history. If we are lucky and we get there on time we will be able to visit “The Sacristy” better known as the Mexican Sixteenth Chapel or the Church Organ.

Nice walk through Madero Street visiting some of the most important colonial buildings and churches.

At the end of Maderos street we will visit this emblematic colonial building, where you will discover it's history and the interior of the house by having time to relax.

Stop At: Palacio de Bellas Artes, Avenida Juarez y Eje Central s/n Centro Histórico, Mexico City 06050 Mexico

Finally our tour will end at the Palace of Fine Arts one of the most beautiful buildings of the beginnings of the twentieth century. The inside and outside of this majestic building were aimed to be a place where concerts, travelling as well as permanent art exhibitions take place. Built in a Neo classic style this building houses beautiful paintings of Mexican paintors like Rufino Tamayo, David Alfaro Siqueiros and Diego Rivera, among many others.
We will only visit the lobby area to admire the internal architecture and decor details, the we will visit second and third floor to admire some of the most important murals of the XX century, made by Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Rufino Tamayo among others.
