Prosecco Tasting and Cooking Class on the Hills. From Venice

Participate in a private cooking class with an expert cook learning local recipes and tasting everything you've made with wines included. Your guide will share the culinary secrets discovering how to make the pasta according to the tradition passed down for generations, from the dough to the perfect sauce (homemade “gnocchi di patate (potato dumplings)” or “Tagliatelle”). Enjoy a meal with traditional venetian recipes as fegato alla veneziana (Venetian liver and onions) or sarde in saor (sardines and onions). You will create your own tiramisu the typical traditional cake born in Treviso.
Tasting and classes will take place on the Prosecco Hills. A minimum of 3 participants are required for the class


Itinerary

This tour combines an amazing Prosecco tasting in a family run winery located in the Prosecco area and a fantastic cooking class. After picking you up in 1 hour and 5 min you will be in the heart of Prosecco vineyards where you will appreciate the Italy's finest sparkling wine. We will take you in a typical family winery visiting first the cellar where a member of the family will give you an insight of the wine making process and after sipping 4 different types of Prosecco in a very comfortable tasting room or outside the winery admiring a stunning view. At the winery you will also appreciate a light lunch made of tasty plates with typical local cheese and salami (flexible for veg). Then we will reach the beautiful borgo of Stramare located 20 min. away from the winery where with chef Michela you will share the culinary secrets discovering how to make the pasta according to the tradition passed down for generations, from the dough to the perfect sauce (homemade gnocchi di patate (potato dumplings) or Tagliatelle. Enjoy a meal with traditional italian recipes as parmigiana eggplant and much more. You will create your own tiramisu the typical traditional cake born in Venice area.
