We spent a fantastic 3-days with our tour guide, Khaled, across Morocco ending with a desert experience in the Sahara. The experience exceeded our expectations - we had a small group of 3 people total in a modern 4x4 car. Khaled, our tour guide, made the tour - he was extremely nice, had fantastic stories to share as a local and was very accommodating for our requests (e.g. buying fossils, meeting nomads). He truly made the experience for us - alongside the amazing landscapes and sites we visited. Hotels and camps were also of a good quality - all in all a great experience. Thank you, Khaled

The experience was amazing. In a few days you have a full immersion in the Moroccan culture. Travelling by car you can see different landscapes and the stops are all interesting. The camel ride in the desert is magic

I really enjoyed this tour. There's a fair bit of driving involved, but there were regular stops to take photos, have lunch and get refreshments. Our driver/guide "Moha" was great. He drove really well and shared his knowledge of the history and culture of the places we visited. The journey on camel to stay overnight in the desert was definitely a highlight. Overall the quality of the vehicle, driver and places that we stayed at was very good and I have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

This 3 day camel safari was so much fun - I wish I booked the 4 day (or longer!!) tour!

Many highlights from this trip. Of course the camel ride was super fun and it lasted a good 90 minutes each way - although I would have ridden longer because it was pretty magical.

The trip was fun from the start. We had a guide named Moha - be sure to ask for him if you book this tour! He was wonderful and always willing to share fun facts, stop for plenty of pictures (or keep driving if we were pictured-out), and happily answered all of our questions about the local culture. We learned about each city, history, and the Berber culture. He also answered any other weird questions we had.

The van was comfortable and air conditioned. Plenty of space for our group. I get very car sick so I knew the drive through the High Atlas Mountains would rough for me - but Moha checked in frequently to make sure I was ok and my new friends in the car made sure I road up front to help.

I was also impressed with how safely Moha drove. Others on the road can be a bit wild compared to American driving laws. Moha was so very safe, driving slow, watching for other unpredictable cars, and always making by sure we were well cared for.

Driving through the small villages also gave such insight into "real life" versus our time I'm Marrakech.

We had a small group of 5 people, which was really fun because we became fast friends for the 3 days we were out. I think if your idea of a fun vacation is riding camels through the Sahara, then you are bound to meet fellow adventurers on this trip. We have all connected on WhatsApp since the trip to share pics and memories!

We also had a wonderful camel guide named Ali. He stayed up until after midnight talking with us - we learned SO much about growing up in the Berber culture from him! And with a 5am wake-up call, it was incredibly kind of him to humor us so late into the night. A big thanks to Ali as well, and best wishes to such an intelligent young man with a bright future.

Cant say enough about the beauty of the desert, the camels, the mountains, the small villages, the people, and particularly Moha and Ali.

Tha is so much to all, I'd live to come back!! Yalla!!

This was a once in a life time opportunity that we couldn't pass up - the tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish.
Many opportunities to stop and take pictures and the lunches and overnight stay were great
Of course the best part of the tour was the camel ride to the desert camp - the Sahara desert is breath-taking and the sunsets and sunrises are spectacular.
Our tour guide Yacob and driver Hassan were excellent - very accommodating and sharing many jokes along the way
I would highly recommend this tour it was well worth it - a bucket list check for sure :)

Wonderful experience! Great guide (Mohammed) and fantastic driver (Hassan). Our guide was very entertaining and caring and his english was very good (he was also able to speak chinese which I found quiet impressive;)). Also the driver was very friendly and he did not drive like hell (big plus!).
After our first stay in the Valley of the rose in the fantastic „Kasbah itran“, we went to a canyon and afterwards to the desert near mezouhga. Even if the weather was not optimal (cloudy and rainy), we had lots of fun. Camel ride was amazing. Going back on the last day was also okay. Yeah it’s long but the environment is changing all the time from desert to stone desert to canyons and the greenish Atlas Mountains.
      Would highly recommend doing it!

This was an absolutely incredible experience. Khalid was so knowledgeable and helpful. He truly changed the trip for us. The Sahara is beautiful and the Atlas Mountains were surprising in size. Pack extra if you’re headed out during the winter months- it’s quite cold in the dunes.

Morocco is a must country to visit!!! It was an amazing experience being in the Sahara Desert and riding camels during the sunset and sunrise. Ismail our tour guide was very informative, progressive and willing to answer all my questions regarding the culture and norms of Morocco. It's a must tour if you would like to visit the Sahara Desert.

I recently went on this tour with a friend, we booked everything last minute, but didn't regret a thing. This tour was a highlight of our trip. Our tour guide Khalid was a super calm, friendly, a can do person. His English is superb!! We had a very mixed International group of 8 people who were also very cool, so we had a good crowd to spend our 3 days with :-

Khalid was informative, assertive and did everything in his power to make sure we had a great time bear in mind it was Ramadan.

We stayed in an Authentic accommodation on both evenings, had good quality food, all in all an authentic and great sight seeing trip.

The Camel ride and night in the dessert under the stars with local music group is a night to remember.

This was the absolute highlight of our trip to Morocco, a great adventure which we were privileged to share with our guide Mohammed 1, and our driver, Mohammed 2. We were picked up in a mini bus in the main square and were in a group of nine travellers. This turned out to be a plus as we were different ages and nationalities, making it a diverse and fun group, and Mohammed 1 set about drawing us all together. As we travelled along he told highly detailed stories about the places, culture, people and customs, interspersed with little jokes and even riddles! The first day we visited Ait Benhaddou and the Rose Valley. On arrival at the hotel which exceeded our expectations, he arranged for a few local teenagers to take us on a walk around the area where we explored abandoned Kasbahs. Dinner was a traditional tagine, and afterwards the two Mohammeds and some of the hotel staff became singers and drummers whilst we joined in and danced, a great evening and a lot of fun.
On Day 2 we visited the Todra Gorge before continuing towards the desert. There were always sufficient stops for food and drink and comfort breaks. You HAVE to try Berber pizza, it's amazing! At a hotel at the edge of the desert we repacked what we needed in a small rucksack for overnight, mounted our camels and were off into the dunes. By the way, wait for the camel guide to tell you when to mount, as if you get on in the wrong order, the camels will all stand up at the wrong moment - we saw this happen in another group! We rode for about an hour or so, being led by our two camel guides until we reached the camp. We had our own little room and there was a mini toilet block with a light!, you don't need to leave the camp in the night.
After watching the sunset we had a late dinner followed by more drumming around a camp fire. With no light pollution, looking up at the stars is like being in a planetarium, absolutely magical. We slept surprisingly well but were up very early to watch the sunrise. Take a thick sweater, it's cold, but the effort is well worth it for the best moment you will ever have of watching the sun rise up over the red dunes.
We trekked back to the hotel at the edge of the desert for breakfast and then it was all the way back to Marrakech. In all honesty, I wish we'd been able to break this up as it was a really long day in the mini bus, and about half of it is on winding mountain roads with a sheer drop. It's not for the faint-hearted. But we're still riding on a cloud after this trip. days after getting home. Thank you Mohammed 1 and Mohammed 2 for the best ever experience which we will always remember.

amazing tour, our guide Abdul and his driver were amazing and accommodating. This was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. We were even upgraded during our Desert camel experience, where you stay in a hut/tent in the desert - we were upgraded to the rooms which had bathrooms included! It was amazing! My only advice is that option should be standard! the extra 40 euro's/ person is well worth it!

We absolutely loved this tour. We were fortunate to have been paid with another couple of similar age, just four of us on the tour. The two guides, Abdou main tour guide and Hamed the driver were absolutely amazing. They did a fantastic job of making us feel at home. We read other reviews that discussed how much driving their is, but that what it takes to visit these far off locations. The highlight is the overnight stay in the desert. We've never seen so many stars and the accommodations were very comfortable, definitely high-end camping.

Khalid was the absolute BEST! This tour was definitely a highlight for my friends and I. My two friends and I got paired up with another couple in this small group tour, which really allowed us to experience the sights in a more flexible and intimate setting of a small group tour, rather than some of the big bus tour companies. Khalid, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and accommodating, always ensuring we were beyond happy. The food, the music, the sights, the sounds, the stories - everything about this tour was incredible. Thank you Khalid!

My wife and I are so happy to have taken this tour. We actually had quite a few stops that I didn't know about and they all turned out to be either beautiful pictures, great opportunities to learn about the locals and culture, or both. We had a fantastic guide and made some good friends along the way. About the guide, Mustapha is such a great person, very dedicated with a sense of humor and just all around fantastic - made a huge impact on our enjoyment of the trip. I will say, the drive back from the desert to Marrakech seemed LONG. But it was worth it. Would definitely do it again!

We easily met at the main square and were welcomed onto our tour by our friendly guide Mustafa and our driver Hassan. The two of us joined to make a party of 10. Our first day was spent crossing the Atlas mountains with plenty of stops for photos along the way. We also stopped at a women's cooperative that produced argon oil products. We were given a short talk on how the oil was extracted, tried some of their delicious samples and were able to buy products from their store. Mustafa was always on hand to offer insights about our locations and Morocco generally as well as answering any questions we had. After crossing the Atlas, we drove through a number of towns along the way, including a stop in the now almost abandoned village used in many films. There was an optional tour of a film studio, however, as no one in the group was particularly interested, we didn't feel pressured into spending money or time here. We stayed overnight in a traditional Moroccan Kasbah overlooking the Rose Valley where we were treated to a -lovely dinner as well as a night of Moroccan music and dancing in which both Mustafa and Hassan enthusiastically participated. After breakfast the next day we continued further into the Sahara stopping for more photos of the surprisingly varied scenery and to choose our complimentary scarf some members of the group also purchased traditional Moroccan dress. We arrived at a hotel on the edge of the sand dunes early evening where we were able to leave any excess luggage we didn't need for a night in the desert. After a quick change we were introduced to our extremely friendly camels for an hour and a half plod in the sand dunes as the sun was setting. Mustafa took an enormous amount of photos on everyone's cameras to make sure our good side and the camel's were captured. Arriving at our camp we were surprised by the standard of the facilities given the location! There were small individual 'rooms' with proper beds and electricity and a separate restaurant area with both indoor and outdoor seating where we were served mint tea aka 'Berber Whiskey' before moving inside for an amazing meal that they managed to prepare in the middle of nowhere - almost as far from Marrakech as the Algerian border! Afterwards we were invited to join the staff for some more singing/drumming, try our hand at sandboarding or just lie down and look at the stars.
The next morning we left the camp early 6am and started our camel ride back to the hotel. Half way through we stopped on a high dune to watch the sunrise and take more photos. We didn't have time for a shower at the hotel so after breakfast we headed back to Marrakech. The drive was long the best part of 12 hours, but the trip is worth the ride with some stops to stretch the legs and have lunch - we arrived back in Marrakech at around 9pm.

Overall I think the trip was a great experience - we had a really lovely group, which I'm sure makes a big difference, and both our guide and our driver were excellent. We'd highly recommend the 3 day tour as well as Mustafa and Hassan, its great value for money and we really felt like we packed a lot into the short trip.
