The Chobe Day trip consists of the Game drive and Boat cruise on the Chobe River. The Chobe national park is home to one of the largest wildlife concentrations in Africa. Bordered by the banks of the breath-taking Chobe River, it is famous for its rich elephant and lion population.

Stop At: Chobe River

Chobe boat cruises are a fantastic way to experience the best of Botswana.

You can get up close to large herds of abundant animals in the Chobe National Park. They tend to make their way to the river and onto the islands in the river to feast on the sweet grass. Puku and lechwe antelopes are standard on the Chobe floodplains.

Here, there is the highest concentration of elephants globally, and herds of elephants frequently cross the Chobe River. Hippos and crocodiles like to bask in the sun next to the water. You can also see buffalo and giraffes and other plains game. Lucky visitors might see leopards and lions! Furthermore, there are over 460 bird species in the park.

Chobe game drives are the number one way to experience the Kasane and the Chobe National Park.

The bird life is amazing in Chobe with over 460 species of birds.

If you’re lucky you can see the big cats like lions and leopards. There are cheetahs too, but they’re very elusive and favor the Linyanti region of the park.

The Chobe day trip departs daily with a pick up from your hotel and lodges within Livingstone for a road transfer to the Botswana (Kazungula) border. Once you have gone through immigration you will have met your Botswana guide who will give brief guidance
