Itinerary

On this personalized 45-minute horse-drawn carriage tour of Victoria, experience the beauty and history of Victoria's James Bay neighborhood and the refreshing breeze of the Salish Sea on a relaxing horse-drawn carriage ride.

Travel through the charming streets of James Bay, a quaint, old-fashioned neighborhood of well-preserved architecture, charming gardens and historical sites. As you approach the water, hear the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, and enjoy the stunning ocean views, with the Olympic Mountains towering in the distance. The Salish Sea is one of the world’s largest and biologically rich inland seas. Its name honors the first inhabitants of the region, the Coast Salish people.

This private tour will be personalized for you, with the right mix of historical information, local folklore and simple relaxation as you sit back and enjoy the clip-clop of your horse's hooves.

Look for the burgundy Tally-Ho kiosk. Upon arrival you will be escorted to your carriage where you will be introduced to your horse and have the opportunity to capture memorable photos before you embark upon your journey.
