7-Hour Guided Wine Tour in Loire Valley

We start with a brief introduction to the region and how to do a wine tasting like a pro. At our first stop we will get among the vines and taste award winning rose and dessert wines. Time for four course lunch at a local cafe, wine included of course. On to a domain to sample their renowned whites and reds. An insider tour of their chai will help us understand the wine making process. Finally into the caves at a sparkling wine house and tasting of white, rose and red sparkling wine. You will have the opportunity to buy wine at cellar door prices, there is no pressure to buy and we do NOT take any commission on their sales. Martin has a diploma of wine and is well known by local winemakers, so has privileged access to vineyard and winery experiences. He is passionate about introducing people to Loire Valley wines. We speak fluent English, French and Spanish.

With dozens of wineries within a few kilometers of the Manor we can find a wine to your taste and that pairs with your favorite food. We have privileged access to over 20 wineries in the region south of Saumur. The wineries we visit will depend on your wine preferences, winery opening days and how busy the winemakers are.

Stop At: Doue-la-Fontaine, Doue-la-Fontaine, Maine et Loire, Pays de la Loire

We will stop at a local restaurant for a hearty 3 course meal, including wine of course! The exact restaurant will vary depending on the tour day and restaurant opening days.

Stop At: Saumur, Saumur, Maine et Loire, Pays de la Loire

We start on the banks of the Loire river* with a brief introduction to the region and how to do a wine
tasting like a pro. We want you to look good as you taste and discuss wines with our winemakers!
*In case of bad weather, the intro will be done indoors
**For tours starting at Bumblebee Manor, the intro will be done there
