Full Day Guided Tour in Copacabana and Isla del Sol

On this full-day tour from La Paz to Copacabana and Isla del sol, you will witness extroardinary scenic lakeside views. You will be crossing rivers on rafts, stopping at beautiful viewing points, learn the history of this important place. You will have time to visit Copacabana itself, have a local lunch and take an afternoon boat trip to the Lake Titicaca, to visit the ¨Island of the Sun¨, a place of Inca legends. You will be be travelling in a friendly group with a Bolivian guide, who will take care of you.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: La Paz, La Paz, La Paz Department

Depart from La Paz at 7:00 am to the Tiquina Mirador viewpoint, arriving around 9:45 am and catching the ferry to cross the Tiquina crossing.

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Copacabana, Copacabana, La Paz Department

Around 12:00 pm, you will arrive in Copacabana and have an hour free before departure at 1:00 pm.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Isla del Sol, Isla del Sol, La Paz Department

At 1:00 pm, you will board the boat to Isla del Sol arriving around 2:30 pm, and you will be dropped off at Yumami at the south end of the island.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Isla del Sol, Isla del Sol, La Paz Department

From 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, you will be able to walk around the sun temple Pilkokaina and the coast of Yumani.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Copacabana, Copacabana, La Paz Department

At 3:30 pm. you will go on the boat back to Copacabana from Yumani port. Arriving around 5:00 pm.

You will have about 45 minutes in Copacana to buy some snacks.

Around 5:45 pm, the bus departs from La Paz from the White Anchor. At 7:00 pm, you will go through the Tiquina crossing.

Arriving in La Paz around 10:30 pm.
