Character Obento Workshop in Kagoshima

With the help of your native host, you will get hands-on training from a professional chef. You'll learn how to cut and make food into animal shapes. Also, you'll learn the correct colors needed to make an eye appealing obento. When the obento is finished you can take pictures for your SNS. You can eat the obento in the restaurant or take it with you to eat later.

This is a great opportunity to try making character obento. Obento (lunch box) is a part of Japanese food culture and can be bought in convenience stores and super markets.Character obento started when some moms started making their child's obento eye appealing by cutting the food into animal shapes. Making character obento gives you a chance to be creative with your food.
