Reims: Small-Group Champagne Tour with Champagne Tastings and Lunch

Travel in the countryside through the historical vineyards and to Epernay. Visit the cellars of a family domaine and enjoy a champagne tasting class to understand the Champagne « terroir » and learn how the cellar masters create their champagnes. This is experience is followed by a delicious lunch with regional specialties. Then, explore Hautvillers, the village of Dom Pérignon, the historical UNESCO vineyard and finish with the authenticity of a family-run winery.

Meet your expert guide at 11.15 am in front of the Tourist Office of the train station of Reims.

Drive through the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, where some of the most prestigious estates are based (Pol Roger, Moët & Chandon).

Enjoy a moment in the vineyard, acquire knowledge about the particularities of our “terroir”.

You will then discover the village of Hautvillers, birthplace of the champagne, where the famous monk Dom Pérignon is buried.

Be welcomed in Mareuil-sur-Ay at a typical Champagne House, Le Clos Corbier. Take part in a fun workshop on Champagne and become an expert taster in this famous sparkling wine !

Enjoy a traditional lunch which consists of homemade regional specialties paired with a variety of champagnes ​​(can be adapted to allergies or specific diets).
Discover the Champagne region and visit a small producer. Stroll down the cool cellar’s corridors and glance at the immense quantity of bottles slowly maturing.
