This tour gives us to chance to visit Central and Northern Mongolian the most beautiful and historical sites such as Khuvsgul Lake National Park and many big rivers and lakes - a true heaven for fishing anglers, the Reindeer herder-Darkhad Ethnic Tribe, many historical sites and burial monuments, breathtaking scenery of wild nature.
Khuvsgul lake is one of seventeen ancient lakes in the world and the freshest and deepest lake in Central Asia. The lake is surrounded by beautiful high mountains covered by thick pine trees, dead volcanoes, and rich species of birds. That outstanding wild nature will give you endless opportunities for photography not possible anywhere else in the world.

ItineraryDay 1: Arrival day / City tourStop At: Ulaanbaatar, Ulaanbaatar
This day we will pick you up from the Airport and transfer to the hotel***.
If you want, you can take a rest for a while and then we will start our city tour.
We will visit
- Zaisan hill from the hill you will be able to see the whole city.
- Gandan-Tegchlen Monastery
- Mongolian National History Museum and see Mongolian traditional folk concert and dinner / transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Elsen - Tasarkhai semi-desert via Khustai National Park Stop At: Elsen Tasarkhai, Mongolia
This morning after having breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to The Elsen Tasarkhai semi-desert. On the way, we will visit Khustai NP. The park lies in the foothills of the southern Khentii mountain range and it is the place where you can see wild horse called Takhi known as Przewalski horse to the world.
And then continue to drive Elsen Tasarkhai, the area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes and a small forest near a river. Together this presents a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests and Gobi-type landscape in one location.
Over here we will ride a camel for one hour and overnight tourist ger camp. For dinner we are going to have Mongolian traditional BBQ and learn form Nomads how they cook. Today we will drive to 280 km approximately.

Day 3: the ancient capital of Kharkhorin & ErdeneZuu MonasteryStop At: Kharkhorin, Kharkhorin, Ovorkhangai Province
We will drive to the ancient capital city Kharakhorin. In 1220 great Chinggis Khaan declared it as the capital city of his vast Empire. Today there are many interesting sites left to visit; the legendary turtle rock sculptures, Buddhist stupas and the ruins of this once great city to name a few.
Erdenezuu - the 1st Buddhist monastery in Mongolia was established in 1586. Today Erdenezuu monastery still shows its glory with collections of many priceless religious objects and incredibly beautiful Mongolian arts

Day 4: Khorgo Volcano & Terkhiin Tsagaan nuur/ White LakeStop At: Khorgo, Khorgo, Arkhangai Province
After breakfast, we will drive to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur. Today, we will visit to the extinct Khorgo volcano by trekking to its big crater which once spewed hot lava (7,000 years ago). Khorgo Mountain used to be a dormant volcano located on the east shore of Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake. The volcano crater of the Togoo Uul is covered with Siberian Larch.
Next, we will proceed to tour Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, which was formed when Khorgo volcano lava dammed the Suman River, cutting a large gorge through the basalt.
It is an astonishingly beautiful lake and a good spot for bird watching and fishing.

Day 5: Zuun Lake via Jargalan villageStop At: Khuvsgul, Dornogovi, Mongolia
After breakfast, we will proceed for an approximate five hours’ drive to Zuun Lake.
A lake is a great place for bird viewings and it is also located along the way to Khuvsgul National Park.

Day 6: Khuvsgul National ParkStop At: Khuvsgul Lake, Khovsgol, Mongolia
Today we will drive to Khuvsgul Lake, the deepest and purest lake in Mongolia. Known as the Blue Pearl of Mongolia, it borders Siberia and has magnificent landscape views.
We will also embark on a trek to the lakeside and mountains for photo-taking sessions, exploring and enjoying the wildlife, flora, and fauna of Khuvsgul Lake area.

Day 7: Leisure day in Khuvgul lakeStop At: Khuvsgul Lake, Khovsgol, Mongolia
This morning we will proceed on horseback to the Khuvsgul Lake area and walk around the lake.
Maybe we will get a chance to see reindeer, taking a memorable picture of an unforgettable experience. if you want, you will be able to rent a canoe to travel to Khusliin Khad "Wishing rock" Ireland so on the time flies so quickly.

Day 8: Uran- Togoo National ParkStop At: Uran Togoo & Tulga, Bulgan, Mongolia
Today, after having breakfast, we will drive to Uran- Togoo National Park which is located in the sum of Khutag-Öndör in the aimag of Bulgan,
Uran Uul is an extinct volcano whose crater reaches 1686 meters (1,05 mile) above the ground, has 500 meters (0,31 mile) in diameter and 50 meters (164,04 feet) in depth

Day 9: Amarbayasgalan MonasteryStop At: Amarbayasgalant Monastery, Amar Hiyd Mongolia
This morning after having breakfast, we are going to drive to Amarbayasgalant Monastery, which is one of the most well known and largest monasteries of Mongolia, are located in the beautiful Iven River valley on the foot of Burenkhan Mountain. The Monastery was a great source of Dharma teaching and accomplishment with over six thousand novices and ordained monks who followed the rules of Lord Buddha’s Vinaya, combining the Three Basket in full harmony with the Three Higher Trainings. The beauty, decorations and construction of the monastery have made it one of the most magnificent architectural monuments not only in Mongolia, but in the whole Asia.
