This tour will give you a quick visit to the unique Perito Moreno Glacier located in Southern Patagonia-Argentina and a full day excursion for self guiding hiking in the village of El Chalten -Fitz Roy area.
For those travelers that dont have too much time you will be able to explore with 3 nights there this amazing unique Glacier in Patagonia-Argentina.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in El Calafate.

Stop At: El Calafate, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Upon arrival in El Calafate, you will be picked up and taken to your selected hotel. We highly recommend visit Nimez Lagoon at sunset. Night in El Calafate.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Perito Moreno Glacier full day excursion + Safari Nautico ( short boat ride)

El Calafate – Full Day Perito Moreno Glacier + Nautical Safari
Breakfast at your hotel. We travel to Los Glaciares National Park, which is comprised of about 47 glaciers that reveal a 10 thousand-year-old world - cold and wild. The most famous is Perito Moreno Glacier in the southwestern end of Argentino Lake, 80k/49m away from El Calafate. This glacier owes its name to a great Argentinean explorer from the last century and is one of the few glaciers in the world that is still moving - one of the most spectacular natural shows in South America. Periodically its 200-foot high outer edge will release ice walls the size buildings that fall into Rico Bend or Canal de los Témpanos (Ice floes Channel). Then they continue sailing along the channel to the main area of the lake. It is a thrilling sight as the glacier comes closer to the Magallanes Peninsula, footbridge, and viewpoint area. This show is breathtaking, accompanied by the sounds and echoes of cracking ice.
Return to the hotel in the evening. Local restaurants offer great quality food and friendly service. We recommend trying the famous "Cordero al Asador". Night in El Calafate.

Day 3: Full day El Chalten-Fitz Roy hiking

Stop At: El Chalten, El Chalten, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Pickup from hotels early in the morning to head towards the legendary Route 40. This route skirts the Argentinian Lake, crosses the Santa Cruz and La Leona Rivers and arrives, after 1.15 hour at the Parador La Leona (almost a museum of Route 40). Later, we continue along the Lake Viedma, having the Andes in the background and, before reaching El Chalten, we ́ll stop to enjoy the beautiful views of the Viedma Lake & Glacier, and the Andes on the background with the emblematic Mount Fitz Roy and Mount Torre. After 3 hours of ride and 220 km traveled, we ́ll arrive to the mountain village of El Chalten.
Once in the village, the guide will give the passenger their lunch box and then he will indicate the start of the self-guided trails that lead to the main viewpoints: Capri Lagoon, Fitz Roy Viewpoint, Torre Torre Viewpoint, Mirador de los Cóndores, Salto del Chorrillo, for which they will be advised on the different options according to their physical shape.
At 17 hrs approximately the passengers will have to be at the meeting point, to return to El Calafate.

Technical Difficulty: Easy or moderate according to the activity chosen by the passenger.
Distance to travel: at the choice of the passengers, a map is provided with distances and times. Of all the trails, we recommend hiking to Laguna Capri.
