We will start this tour by picking you up at the lobby of your hotel in Merida. Our professional staff will follow all biosecurity protocols for your safety and well-being. The Haciendas tour will start in Hacienda Yaxcopoil, located just 20 minutes away from Merida. Enjoy the short ride and get ready to have a beautiful experience.

Hacienda Yaxcopoil was one of the biggest henequen haciendas back in the 17th century. Its name comes from the Mayan language and it means "Place of the green poplars".

This hacienda will make you fall in love with it for its great history and architecture. Nowadays it works as a museum, presenting how life was back in those days, artifacts, decoration, and the labors to get the henequen fabric.

Its architecture is so fascinating that the location has been chosen for films.

Our second hacienda is located 15 minutes away from the Hacienda Yaxcopoil. The name of the hacienda means "place of the whirlpools" in the Mayan language.

This hacienda was way bigger in its golden years, now it only has 3% of the land that used to have in the past. It belongs to the Peón family, one of the wealthiest in Mexico. They had a total of 14 haciendas.

In the present, this hacienda also works as a hotel and the rooms were named after the profession of the person who lived there when it worked as a henequen hacienda, such as the foreman's room, the housekeeper's room, the carpenter's room, and much more with a total of 28 rooms. Live the hacienda fantasy regardless if you are staying at the hotel or not. You will love the tour.

15 minutes away from Hacienda Temozon, we find Hacienday Mucuyché, one of the most beautiful haciendas you will find in Mexico. It not only has history but it is full of natural beauty too. It has 2 cenotes in it!

This hacienda is almost 400 years. The oldest record of the hacienda dates from the 17th century. The activities that once took place at the hacienda are cattle ranching, henequen plantation, and today, tourism.

Our guided visit will allow you to relieve the golden era of this place and at the end of the tour, have fun and refresh yourself in the 2 cenotes.

One is called Carlotta Cenote, and it receives this name as it was visited by Empress Carlota, Princess of Belgium, married to Maximilian, Archduke of Austria, who seven years later would be crowned Emperor of Mexico. It is said that she was the first non-Maya descendant to swim in this cenote.

The second cenote is called "Blue Maya". It can be said that it is a young cenote. It has refreshing turquoise waters.
