Our local guide will explain about the market and you can buy fresh fruit to beautiful Maasai beadwork and carvings to fabulous kikoys, cows and sheep! Arusha’s markets are the place to buy gifts for those at home.

It’s a sensory overload and probably better for sightseeing than actual shopping but it’s great fun! the Kilombero Market is where residents shop for fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, spices and hundreds of other things.

Stop At: Arusha National Natural History Museum, JMJW+5CW, Arusha, Tanzania

This is by far the best museum in the city. If no travel is complete without a museum visit, look no further. The Natural History Center boasts an excellent exhibit on human evolution, among other things. Tanzania is the geographic center of the human story, so this is pretty powerful
