Lastly drive through Colorado stopping by the dinosaur national monument into Steamboat Springs Colorado and enjoy soaking in a large natural hot spring.

Itinerary

Day 1: Salt Lake City -- Lava Hot Springs

Stop At: Temple Square, 50 W North Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84150-9709
Temple Square is often seen as the heart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), also known as the Mormons. Back in the late 1840s when LDS pioneers first reached Utah, they decided to build a temple that would be the center of their religious society. From there, the church grew outwards across Utah, then throughout the United States, and then throughout the world. Temple Square is still the headquarters for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to this day, containing other historic buildings such as the Tabernacle, the Beehive House, and the Conference Center. You'll love observing the beautiful architecture of these buildings while learning about the history of these early pioneers.

Stop At: Utah State Capitol, 350 N State St, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-4799
Modeled after the US Capitol Building in Washington DC, the Utah State Capitol Building is stunning. This brilliant piece of architecture is the center of government for all of Utah, containing the chambers for the Utah State Legislature, the chamber for the Utah Supreme Court, and the office for the Utah Governor. In addition to its important role as the seat of government for all of Utah, the Capitol Building also holds incredible pieces of artwork depicting the history of the state.

Stop At: Antelope Island State Park, 4528 W 1700 S, Syracuse, UT 84075-6861
Located near Salt Lake City, Antelope Island is home to free-ranging bison, pronghorn (antelope), bighorn sheep, and many other desert animals. In addition to these larger animals, millions of birds line the shore offering unmatched bird watching opportunities. Here you also have amazing views of the Great Salt Lake and the opportunity to take a dip in the lake.

Stop At: Lava Hot Springs, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho
World famous hot springs located near the Idaho Utah border. Take a minute to relax and soak in the mineral hot springs. Temperatures range from 102 - 112 degrees Farenheit.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 2: Yellowstone National Park

Stop At: Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
Spanning nearly 3,500 miles over 3 states, Yellowstone national park is one of the world's largest national parks. The park is home to nearly half of the world's thermal features. Additionally, see the only herd of bison dating to prehistoric times as well as bears, wolves and other animal life.

Enjoy soaking in Montana's newest hot spring experience. Located in a valley right outside Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone hot springs has a high concentration of dissolved minerals to help soothe skin and body aches. Spend some time here and let your stresses melt away.

Pass By: West Yellowstone, West Yellowstone, Montana
West Yellowstone is perfectly situated right next to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, making it an ideal home base for the rest of your trip. After arriving in West Yellowstone, you’ll have time to eat dinner and then explore the town’s many gift shops.

Stop At: Grand Teton National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
Located in Northwestern Wyoming, be prepared for stunning mountain views and diverse wildlife. The Teton mountain range dominates the skyline rising to heights over 13,000 feet. Witness the range up close while exploring locations within the park such as Jenny Lake and Coulter Bay at Jackson Lake. During the summer, wildflowers paint the valley floor with rich vibrant colors. This area is a great place for photos to send home or post on your social media accounts.

Stop At: Jackson Hole, Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Jackson Hole is a quaint Western town in Wyoming known for its artwork and cowboys. Due to its proximity to numerous ski resorts and Grand Teton National Park, this lively town is a great stopping point. One of the most recognizable aspects of Jackson is the town square, where the four corners of the park are marked with arches made entirely out of antlers.

Day 5: Dinosaur National Monument -- Steamboat Springs

Stop At: Dinosaur National Monument, 11625 East 1500 South, Jensen, UT 84078
Once a flowing river, now turned desert, dinosaur national monument is the home to hundreds of dinosaur fossils. Embedded in the sand bank of a once flowing river, these dinosaurs were unearthed in 1909. Researchers decided to leave a section of fossils in the ground and have built a quarry surrounding it allowing visitors to come in and feel dinosaur bones with their own hands. Do not miss out on seeing earth's previous inhabitants.

Stop At: Steamboat Springs, Steamboat Springs, Colorado
A small town located in northern Colorado, enjoy soaking in open air pools in the Colorado sun. At this location enjoy the natural pools and potentially get a massage to let your stresses melt away. This location is family friendly during the day and adults only in the evening.

Day 6: Rocky Mountain National Park -- Coors Brewery -- Red Rock Amphitheatre -- Flight

Located outside of Denver Colorado, this national park takes you up through the rocky mountains. One of the highest national parks, you can work your way above the treeline and enjoy magnificent valley views. The continental divide is also prevalent in this park running from north to south. Glaciers carved the landscape into 3 primary topographical zones.

Come see the world's largest single-site brewery! A 60 minute tour showcases the company's history and emphasis on quality, innovation and customer service. The tour is followed by a sampling of 3 products. Those under the age of 21 will be given non-alcoholic drinks.

Stop At: Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, 18300 W Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO 80465-8737
One of Rolling Stones top 10 music venues in the US, Red Rock Amphitheater in Colorado is a place not to be missed. The stage is placed in front of a massive red rock and faces out towards a large seating area that is itself nestled between two looming red rocks. Located under the seats is a museum with a list of artists who have performed here. Enjoy the views of this famous music venue.
