DMZ Full day with Gloucester Memorial & Suspension Bridge Tour
This tour will take you from Seoul to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) that is a very unique, educational and contemporary historical place.
Also visit Gloucester Hill Battle Memorial and Gamaksan Suspension Bridge where was fierce battle field during Korean War and now turned to beautiful places where you can see beauty of Korea nature at the top.
After visit Suspension Bridge, you will go back to the Imjingak Park, then the vehicle takes you to the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. After seeing the 3rd Tunnel, you will watch a brief film at the DMZ Exhibition Hall to get more information on the Korean Peninsula.
Then you will move to the Dora Observatory to see North Korea over telescope. After the Dora Observatory, you will visit the Dorasan Station (not available temporarily), the last station before entering North Korea.
You will pass the Unification Village, on the way to go to the Imjingak Park and go to Seoul.

You can see the Freedom Bridge, Monument of Soldiers, Bell of Peace and an old steam locomotive that shows the extremity of the tragedy that was the Korean War.

- Hill 235
Hill 235, where the 1st Battalion, the Gloucestershire Regiment (the Glorious Glosters) was ordered to "Hold on where you are", is remembered as "Gloster Hill".
-Memorial
The memorial stands at the foot of Gloucester Hill beside the Seolmacheon stream.
There is a memorial garden on the east side of the stream containing a large sculpture of the Gloucester's beret, a set of life sized Gloucester soldiers patrolling away from the Imjin River and a memorial wall. The stream is crossed by Gloucester Bridge and a path leads round to a flight of steps that takes you to the memorial stones set into a wall built into the side of the hill.
Four plaques on the original memorial still show the crest of the United Nations, the badges of the Gloucestershire Regiment and of the Royal Artillery
This is a popular park for local Koreans. According to Lee In-jae, the mayor of Paju who raised money among local citizens to expand the park, "Freedom is not free – it is earned with blood".

-Gamaksan Suspenstion Bridge
1.7 kilometers away from the Gloucester Hill Memorial is a rope bridge known as The Gloucester Heroes Bridge. The insignia of the regiment is also on a marble effect wall towards the beginning/end of the bridge, depending on which side the walk is started.
It is one of longest suspension bridge of Korea with 180 meter length. It was fierce battle field during Korean War. After short hiking (15min), you will reach to the great view point at the mountain Gamaksan which is in the list
Gamaksan is in the list of BEST 100 Mountains in Korea, rises 675 meters above sea level and is oft described as the ‘closest mountain to the DMZ’ but it is probably the most popular one to hike near the DMZ.
Gamaksan is close to the ceasefire line so, once you climb up to the peak, you will be able to see the Imjingang River and Songaksan Mountain in Gaesong.

The DMZ is a unique area where you can observe one country being divided into two.

North Korean Army built to infiltrate South Korea in 1970s. You will walk down to the tunnel (about 500m) wearing a safety helmet.
After tunnel, you will have some time to look around the DMZ Exhibition Hall which shows the Korean War, old weapons and you can watch a short film about Korea's history and other information of Korea.

The highlight spot in DMZ is Dora Observatory where you can see North Korea’s propaganda village through onsite telescopes.
