Stop At: Amazing Grace Park, Railway Road, Buncrana Ireland

Once a piece of wasteland, the stretch of land has now been completely transformed with a stunning water feature, plants and flowers, pathways and benches including an anchor-shaped viewing area looking over Lough Swilly and Buncrana pier. Here we'll start to hear the fascinating story of John Newton, the redeemed Slave Master.

A park gifted to the town by Henry Swan featuring a beautiful riverside walk along the Crana. We'll walk through the park to exit at the other side of Buncrana Town.

In the town you'll stop at the Market Square. This is the location of a 1922 shooting which killed two young girls during a bank robbery at the Royal Bank, now the AIB.
