Shore Excursion: Limon Highlights Tour

This tour offers you some of the best of what Port Limon has to offer. Make a stop at a local fruit stand, where you will try some delicious tropical selections and enjoy a jungle boat down the canal, a short city tour and some shopping for coffee. The tour operator will have a 16 passenger bus (Coaster Toyota) waiting outside the cruise ship terminal in the morning at 8am and leaving at 8:30, and in the afternoon the bus will be waiting from 12:30pm and leaving at 1pm.

Stop At: Puerto Limon, Puerto Limon, Province of Limon

The tour operator will have a15 passenger bus (Coaster Toyota) waiting outside the cruise ship terminal in the morning at 8am and leaving at 8:30, and in the afternoon the bus will be waiting from 12:30pm and leaving at 1pm. After pick up from your cruise port, you will make a fruit stand stop, where your local guide will provide information about cocoa and coffee. You will also be tasting some of the delicious fruits of the Caribbean.

Stop At: Tortuguero, Tortuguero, Province of Limon

Last, climb aboard a covered jungle boat for a leisurely cruise through the jungle canal. Tortuguero is often called "The Amazon of Central America" because of its canals and abundance of wildlife; 5% of the world's wildlife is found in Tortuguero.
