Whale & Arctic Wildlife Safari

The Humpback Whales and Orcas migrate to Northern Norway and the coast near Tromsø to feed on the Atlantic Herring from mid of October to the end of January.

During these winter months, we organize Whale & Arctic Wildlife Safari from Tromsø by boat. The tour begins at 08:30 from Tromsø ; the direction we cruise will depend on the weather conditions and the most probable whale and wildlife sightings. Some days we need to travel up to three hours to reach the whale sighting area. The route is beautiful - we cruise between islands and pass-through vast fjords with mountain views. Once we have spotted the whales, we spend at least one hour in the sighting area. We drift along with the whales during this time, and we gently follow their path with awareness of our presence in their natural environment. Our boat is spacious with a comfortable, warm lounge with panoramic windows, a small kiosk, lavatories and several outside decks.

The Humpback Whales and Orcas migrate to Northern Norway and the coast near Tromsø to feed on the Atlantic Herring from mid of October to the end of January. It's about a three hour boat ride from Tromsø to the area where the whales gather , where we will see the whales.

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Northern Norway, Northern Norway

On the choosen location we stop and look at the whales for 60-90 minutes depending on the conditions.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Tromso, Tromso, Troms, Northern Norway

After spending time with the whales we go back to Tromsø.
