Cycle Sintra’s Wonders – EBike Tour

Experience Sintra with a local, catch sight of all the main interest points and have a little fun and adventure while you do it!

After all the participants are familiar with the e-bikes (we brief you with all the information needed) we begin our cycling adventure pedaling through Sintra.

We arrive at Biester Palace & Park for a guided visit with lot’s misteries and secrets to discover.

Following on from this spectacular location, we pass by Quinta da Regaleira and arrive to Seteais Palace where we will stop for the best Pena Palace views

Oh and don't worry about feeling tired or pedaling too much, the ebikes are ready to assist!

We peddle back to Sintra’s Historical center and after we toast with a wine tasting at a local winery we get back to our shop where we originally met for the end of this Half Day (but very full and exiting itinerary) of adventures and lot’s of fun!

Sintra Center and Mountain
We start at the heart of our Hometown – navigating inside the mountain and through the narrow streets of Sintra! Here you will get chance to see

Stop At: Palacio e Parque Biester, Avenida Almeida Garrett 1A, Sintra 2710-567 Portugal

Running away from the mass tourism that currently exists in Sintra’s top attractions (Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira for exemple) we visit this stunning property, that has just opened gates for visitores (it was a private property for more than 100 years, you will be the first visitores). A fascinating building with na imense garden (park), a cultural labyrinth with lot’s misteries and secrets to discover.

Biester Palace & Park, the film set from Johny Depp’s “Ninth Gate” THE FILM SET FOR JOHNNY DEPP’S ‘NINTH GATE’ and one of Luigi Manini creations is a landmark for Sintra, and is one of the first buildings and finest examples of chalets of its kind. Surronding this piece of revivalist architectur – a vast garden including waterfalls, view points (with the best views of all of Sintra’s attractions) , pieces of art (famouse Bordalo’s tiles) caves and secret chambers!

View Point - Best Views of Sintra

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Seteais, 2710-405 Sintra, Portugal

Seteais Palace where we will stop for the best Pena Palace views and to fill you up with historical and cultural information about the sights and surrondings

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Centro Historico de Sintra, Sintra 2710-616 Portugal

venturing through Sintra Forest and ancient paths! At the historical center, apart from the traditional cobble narrow streets you will be able to catch sight of all the green surroundings, iconic Palaces and World Heritage properties

Duration: 20 minutes

Pass By: Quinta da Regaleira, Rua Barbosa do Bocage, Sintra 2710-567 Portugal

we will pass by Quinta da Regaleira (don’t worry, when the Tour ends you may come back for a visit, we can assist you with the tickets so you avoid lines and give you all the information needed)

Stop At: Fonte da Sabuga, 2710-631 Sintra, Portugal

Oh and bring an empty bottle of water to refill at one of the many centenary fountains with the best fresh Sintra water directly from the mountain.
