At 8:30 am, your English-speaking driver guide will meet you at the lobby of your Guilin hotel and head to Longji Rice Terraces (also known as Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces). The layers of rice terraces look like the dragon’s spine therefore the name.

It is approximately 2 hours drive away from Guilin city limit. On your way to Longji Rice Terraces, you will see old villages with bamboo groves and wooden houses with mountains in the backdrop.
