Really great tour that started with a mix up as another tour guide was also called Ibrahim and we got into that tour bus from our hotel. But the tour guides sorted it out without our knowledge and we got picked up by the right guide in the Square. It was a fun group of tourists from all over the world and Ibrahim was an excellent guide and very lovely. The driver was safe which is a plus given the general crazy driving. We also drank a lot of mint tea that day :)

The mountains and Beber villages were lovely, but take note that it's a hike to visit the waterfall that some may not be able to do. That said, it was beautiful and the man selling freshly squeezed orange juice was just in the right place! Lunch was included and was a traditional tagine and we all enjoyed it!

Also, please note that the Agafay desert is a stone desert, so please know it won't be like the Sahara. Camel-riding was offered but I didn't go, but the others seemed to enjoy it. We stopped to enjoy the sunset on the drive back which was awesome. When we got back into the city, we should have just dropped off at the Square and walked back to our hotel as the traffic was horrendous.

I would recommend this tour as part of any trip to Morocco. It was a highlight!

The day trip was amazing. The Atlas mountain and all the scenic views were so beautiful. It is a long day trip so I would recommend keeping snacks in the bag. It also gets very cold up there so take a jacket/scarf and wear comfortable shoes.

The tour guide and driver were really nice and welcoming.

Overall it was a adventurous day. Loved it.

This was the best trip I've had in Morocco!

It started out slow, as we were driving to the Atlas mountains with many stops at little villages, but once we got to the mouintains, it was breathtaking.

The hike started out kind of strenous, but only for the first twenty minutes or so. (If you are not into that, there is always an option for riding a mule, but I promise, it's not worth). It was just steep climbung uphill until a tea break in a traditional berber house. After that it was more of a really nice walk with amazing views and lots of information about the villages, people and other Atlas-Mountain relevant things.

We were brought to a big house for lunch, where the tajine qwas to die for. The price was included. From there on, the van will come and bring you to the "desert" for a short dromedar ride. We had the pleasure of seeing a baby dromedare, only 7 months old. It was adorable and just trotted next to us, right next to its mother. It was also great taking pictures with it, as it was very affectionate.

From there on, you were taken back home a little bit exhausted but with an overwhelming great feeling of accomplishment.

A million starts for this trip!

This is a must when you are in Marrakech. Our tour guide:Hassan figo and the driver:Hassan Taznakht were both great. Hassan the driver drove us around safely. We were picked up on time at the hotel. The whole experience was wonderful, the food was authentic and amazing. The walk around the village, the waterfall and the camel ride were the highlights of the trip. This is a whole day trip so be prepared to return to Marrakech around 6 or 6:30 pm. Hassan, our tour guide was professional, friendly and helpful giving that I was traveling with my young son. He helped him with all the walking we did around the town. He even got him to ride a horse as we were walking downhill back to the car. He really enjoyed that. He also made sure the whole group was engaged the whole time. The visit to the Agafay desert was at the end of the trip so everyone was tired by then. But it was still beautiful as we got yo yake great pictures. The views were stunning. I highly recommend this tour with Hassan.

Excellent one day trip for those who would like to leave Marrakech and see the surrounding specialities of the area (stone desert, berber villages, Atlas mountain, camel ride), but only have one free day for it. The staff was lovely, kind, shared a lot of interesting information with us. They were funny, made tons of pictures of us while camel riding etc. It definitely was not just a trip for sightseeing but as Omar is a kind local guy, due to his network we had unique opportunities to see how people really live their everyday lives there, even visiting a family in their own house. The staff handled those kind of emergency situations in a very professional way too like an injury. The time schedule was convenient even we have seen a lot of things, the mini bus was comfortable, clean and airconditioned.
Thank you guys, highly recommended, this day trip was the cherry on the top during our visit to Marrakech :)

This tour was the highlight of our 7 days in Morocco. Our guide Karim picked us up in a very comfortable van. He speaks 7 languages and is funny, too. He is a Berber himself so he could answer all of our questions. First we rode camels dressed in Moroccan outfits- great photo op - with Karim taking pictures whenever we asked. Then on to a Berber market (we were lucky to be there on a market day). We hiked up into the Atlas mountains with a stop by a beautiful waterfall. Then on to his village where we had delicious lunch on a terrace looking out over the mountains and valley. Last a visit to his grandfather's home so that we could see what Berber life was like before they had electricity. Thanks, Karim, for your patience and kindness helping me cross the streams safely. One note : wear sturdy hiking shoes. You will be glad you did :).
