Get to know the essence of the villages by learning the forms of income of artesans dedicated to wine and chocolate making while other perfect arts in wood or other materials . Explore a palace of the colonial times turned into a museum, a mystic place where you can learn all about the role and importance of the first bishop of Guatemala a man to whom the palace is dedicated to.

Stop At: San Pedro Las Huertas, Guatemala

Here the travelers will appreciate the folklore of a unique indigenous village of Guatemala. Admire the majestic colonial church of 1674. Learn about the customs of the peole and observate ladies doing their laundry at the main square. Get to know a family that has perfected the technique of carving jade and learn about the importance of this gem to the mayan culture.

Stop At: Ciudad Vieja, Ciudad Vieja, Sacatepequez Department

On this stop travelers will have the opportunity of appreciating remains of the contructions that were witness to a mud slide that came from the famous agua volcano. The remains lie within the city hall facilities. Explore the towns main square and admire the impressive colonial church.

Stop At: San Antonio Aguas Calientes, San Antonio Aguas Calientes, Sacatepequez Department

On this stop you will meet indigenous part of a mayan ethnic group called kakchiquel. The town is know to be more than 90% auhentic mayan population. The village stands out from many other thanks to its unique hand made textiles made using the famous back strap loom technique. Enjoy a museum with a valuable collection of fine textiles.

Stop At: Cerro de la Cruz, Antigua, Guatemala Al final de la 1ª Avenida Norte, Antigua 03001 Guatemala

Here travelers appreciate an over all view of antigua and the relation with surrounding villages. Take memorable photos from the most visited spot in Antigua.
