Itinerary

A very long time ago, more than 4000 years before Jesus Christ, Varna was a rich and prosperous city on the shores of the Black Sea, famous for its gold.
Indeed the goddess Abundantia had taken up residence there and had taught one of her protégés alchemy: the art of transforming lead into gold.
He ran a jewelry store where you could find all kinds of magnificent jewelry where the whole world (and particularly royal beings) flocked to buy his extraordinary objects which seemed to bring luck to their lucky buyers.
Unfortunately, as is often the case when someone is at the height of their glory, they also attract jealousy and lust.
This did not please the governor at the time, who took a dim view of this reputation which seemed to overshadow him.

He then fomented a plot to lock up the jeweler in a dungeon and try to extract from him the secrets of his art, which had made him so rich and attractive! Alerted by the disappearance of her husband, the wife collected all the jewels and carefully hid them in a chest, which she had hidden in a safe place in Varna.
