Itinerary

Meet your private tour guide at the lobby of your Zhangye hotel, by car / bus to the Horse-Hoof Temple Grottoes, you will see the countryside view and grassland on the way. The Horse-Hoof Temple Grottoes located in the Qilian Snow Mountain, initially the first cave was opened by Guoyu who came from Dunhuang in the third century. It is a very important Buddhism Grottoes in Gansu.

In the afternoon, transfer to Pingshanhu Grand Canyon, hiking in the canyon and the Gobi desert. you will see a very different place in western China. someone said it is like a Mars. There are many natural and cultural scenes at the scenic spot including " nine dragons at sea . miracle canyon , lovers Peak , " one - line - sky , lucky elms , inquisitive toad , bird , animals and tower as well as stone forest . the wild appearance formed in millions of years and labyrinth - like gorge took out the specific style and magnificent views found only in the west of China .
