Itinerary

Day 1: TRANSFER FROM SHUMBA AIRPORT (JAÉN) TO CHACHAPOYAS

Pass By: Jaen, Jaen, Cajamarca Region
Welcome at the airport of Shumba, province of Jaén, from where we will begin the transfer to our very faithful city of Chachapoyas.

Day 2: KUELAP ARCHAEOLOGICAL MONUMENTAL AREA

Stop At: Fortaleza de Kuelap, Carretera a Kuelap, Chachapoyas 01415 Peru
7:00 am.- Breakfast
8:30 am.- We leave for the district of Nuevo Tingo, where the Kuelap Cable Cars are located, which we will enjoy on a tour over the clouds for 20 minutes of travel, we start the 30-minute walk to the Archaeological Monumental Zone Kuelap, located at 3000 meters above sea level, archaeological complex of greater significance for the Chachapoyas, built since the 6th century AD and discovered in 1843, impresses its stone walls up to 20 meters high, which protect more than 500 circular houses, many of they are decorated with zigzag-shaped friezes and rhomboids, distributed over more than seven hectares.
After the visit lunch at the Tingo.
Return to Chachapoyas.

Day 3: GOCTA CATARACT

Stop At: Catarata de Gocta, Valera Peru
7:00 am. - Breakfast.
9:00 am.- Gocta waterfall is one of the biggest natural attractions of Amazonas. With its 771 meters high, it is considered "The third highest waterfall in the world" by many tourists.
Our tour starts from the city of Chachapoyas at 2,334 meters above sea level to the town of Cocachimba, at 1,830 meters above sea level, from where we will begin the adventure of a walk of approximately 5 hours round trip until the second fall of 540 meters.
During the tour you can see interesting plants, abundant vegetation and birds like the cock of the rocks.
Upon returning to the town of Cocachimba we enjoy a succulent lunch.
Later we return to Chachapoyas.

Day 4: TRANSFER OF CHACHAPOYAS TO SHUMBA AIRPORT (JAÉN)
