Wellington Shore Excursion: From Cave to Coast Highlights Private Tour

A 5 hour guided highlights tour of coastal Wellington. Tour highlights include spectacular views at the Mount Victoria Lookout, a scenic coastal drive from Oriental Parade around the Miramar Peninsula as well as a visit to the Weta Workshop Weta Cave with exclusive documentary viewing. Enjoy the views from the south Wellington Coast as far as Te Kopahou Reserve and Brooklyn Wind Turbine before a central city stops including the Cable Car and Old St Paul's Cathedral. Visit the Weta Cave retail and museum space associated with the Weta group of companies and check out some of their movie magic. Watch an exclusive behind the scenes documentary of the companies history (optional - if time and availability allows)

Enjoy a classic Kiwi lunch at this quintessential Wellington cafe. The cafe sits on the coast along the Shelly Bay scenic route and looks over Wellington Harbour. The building itself is the old mess hall from a decommissioned airforce base. The cafe specializes in locally caught and freshly prepared seafood dishes but caters to all dietary requirements. Mains and a drink are included in the tour.
