Mt Emei 1 day tour

Mt.Emei is located in Emei Mount City 160 km. south west of Chengdu. It is 3099 M above sea level. It is known as "the fairest mountain among the fair mountains in the world”for its majesty and beauty.

Mt. Emei is one of four sacred Buddhist mountains.As early as the second century, Buddhists began to build temples and monasteries on the mountain. By the end of sixth century, it had become a noted Buddhist place. There were 151 monasteries scattered all over the mountain, but more than twenty still remain today. Mt Emei is a Buddhist sanctuary for pilgrims. Mt.Emei is an ideal place for sightseeing. It is famous for its'ten scenic spots' such as "Bubbling-notes under the Shuangfei Bridges'，'Autumn Breeze over the Baishui Monastery'，'Auspicious Rays on the Golden Summit' and so on.

2.5 hours drive way to foot of Mt. Emei

Stop At: Emeishan, Emeishan, Sichuan

10:00-15:00 visit Mount Emei

① from baoguo temple - Wannian temple by green bus
② temple visit
③ from Wannian temple hike to Bailong cave
④ Bailong cave hike to Qingyin pavilion
⑤ go and see the monkey area
⑥ going down to Wuxiangang Parking

take the green bus again down to the foot of mountain.

Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Chengdu, Chengdu, Sichuan

take your private trans back to Chengdu, the tour finish
