3 Day Iquitos Jungle Adventure at Muyuna Lodge

Muyuna Amazon Lodge is an Eco-Lodge located in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Stop At: Iquitos, Iquitos, Loreto Region
• Transfer by land from the airport.
• 9:30am we depart by road and river to the lodge.
• Jungle excursion to observe the enormous variety of
flora. Observation of the Leoncito (Pygmy Monkey).
• Sunset on the lake Sapote.
• Nocturnal excursion by boat to see caimans and
nocturnal birds and mammals.

Day 2: Munuya Lodge and Juanachi Lake

Stop At: Muyuna Amazon Lodge, PP28+JW Paraíso, Iquitos 16310, Peru
• Excursion to swim in the Amazon River and watch
pink and gray dolphins.
• Observation of Victoria Regia, the largest
aquatic plant in the world.
• Observation of iguanas.
• Piranha fishing.
• Authentic visit to San Juan de Yanayacu’s village.
• Night walk in search of huge tarantulas and frogs.

Day 3: Muyuna Lodge and Departure

• Boat excursion to Juanachi or Moena lake

• Filling out your biodiversity checklist-card
with your guide.
• At 1:00 pm we depart from the lodge to the
airport or hotel. Arrival at 4:00 pm approximately
