Dolores Hidalgo & Sanctuary of Atotonilco
Visit the beautiful town of Dolores Hidalgo, cradle of Mexico’s Independence movement. Visit the growing lavender fields outside the town. See it’s magnificent church, it’s museums, local crafts and taste their delicious hand made ice cream flavors. We will visit a famous winery outside Dolores, where we will try three different wines and share a cheese board. After that, we’ll see the incredible paintings at the Atotonilco Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
