This three-day desert excursion from Fes to Marrakech via the Merzouga sahara desert is great opportunite to explore best of Morocco.
You will begin at your hotel/riad in Fes, where our driver/guide will pick you up, and we continue to Merzouga via the most magnificent ton of Ifrane and a stop to observe monkeys in the cedar forest of Azrou and the ziz valley.

Spend night in Sahara desert camp, enjoy camel ride and unique scenery.

Following the Gorges of Todgha, you will visit the famed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before being dropped off at your riad or hotel in Marrakech.

Itinerary

Day 1: Fes - Azrou (Cedar forest) - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert camel ride

Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Meknes
Our journey will begin in the Medina of Fes, where our staff will pick you up from your hotel or a designated meeting spot.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Ifrane, Ifrane, Fes-Meknes
We will begin our journey from Fes by going via Ifrane, a French-built ski resort in the 1930s designed to imitate a Swiss town.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Azrou, Azrou, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
We explore Azrou, cedar forest where you may feed local monkeys.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
You will stop for lunch at Midelt, a town known for its fossils and rocks. After lunch in Midelt, we continue our journey and cross the Tizi N' Talghoun pass while taking in the breathtaking scenery. In Erfoud, there is a breathtaking view of the river Ziz valley dotted with hundreds of date palms.

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
After arriving at Merzouga, you will have a one-hour camel ride as the sun sets behind the dunes to reach the desert camp. You will experience feeding camels in Sahara. As a part of the tour you will feed up local camel.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 2: Merzouga Desert - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
A must-do is waking up early to watch the most amazing sunrise you've ever seen at the top of a high dune near the camp, then riding camels back to Merzouga, where a delicious breakfast awaits.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Rissani, Rissani, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
We depart the desert after breakfast for Rissani, where we will visit the market place (market days: tuesday, thursday, and saturday). From there, we proceed to Erfoud, where we will see the fossilized marble factories, before making our way to the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad.

Stop At: Gargantas del Todra, Tinerhir 45800 Morocco
The Todra Gorges, one of the nicest spots in the High Atlas, will be reached one hour later. The river's path has carved out a cliff-sided canyon, which is famous among climbers due to its beauty and steep rock walls. Lunch is on your own time at this lovely location. It is highly recommended to take a brief stroll through the gorges in order to better enjoy the landscape's magnificence.

Stop At: Boumalne Dades, Boumalne Dades, Souss-Massa
As we pass through Boumalne Dades on our way to the Dades valley, also known as the figs valley, we will stop at the "monkey legs" Evening meal and lodging in the Dades gorges.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 3: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Tizi N Tichka - Marrakech

Stop At: Valley of the Roses, El Kelaa M'gouna Morocco
After breakfast, we may savor one of the best views of the Dades valley from a strategic vantage point in the mountains. From this vantage point, we can admire the vast number of kasbahs and the unique aesthetic qualities of each. The journey continues along a route dotted with kasbahs of touristic importance. Following a few pauses to appreciate the "One Thousand Kasbahs Road" The Roses Valley and the vast Skoura palm grove will bring us to Ouarzazate.

Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Draa-Tafilalet
We explore Ouarzazate, where we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, the former home of the Glaoui or Marrakech pasha. If you are interested, we may also visit the film studios and museum.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
We will stop at the ksar (fortified settlement) in Ait Ben Haddou, where we will explore the well-known Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). This fantastic stage has been used to film a number of films, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara starring Penélope Cruz, etc.

Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi
In the afternoon, we begin our journey to Marrakech through the mountain port of Tizi Ntichka, with photo stops along the route. Here, we depart the moonscape to arrive at a new, colorful scene. We will arrive in Marrakech at 6 p.m., transfer to the hotel, and conclude our services there.
