Stop At: Fundacion Cesar Manrique, Calle de Jorge Luis Borges 16, 35507 Tahiche, Lanzarote Spain

After a short journey of approximately 20 minutes from the cruise port, we will visit the César Manrique Foundation, which is located in the unique and spectacular house designed by César Manrique himself on his return from New York, when he decided to settle permanently in Lanzarote. It was located in the middle of a lava flow caused by the great eruptions that took place on the island between 1730 and 1736. In this construction, which occupies 3,000 square metres on a 30,000 square metre estate, the dialogue between the building and nature stands out, fusing volcano and architecture in a relationship of permanent respect.
