Two-day Tour to tour around Xiamen and Dongshan Island
During this two-day private trip, you are going to have ample time to explore three of Xiamen's most must-see attractions: Nanputuo Temple, Huli Mountain Fort and Gulangyu Island and also take a stroll around the major attractions in Dongshan Island include Fengdongshi Scenic Area and Dongmen Island. Dongmen Island has become a prime location for shooting movies and TV series because of its unique coastline and numerous unique stones, coupled with its beautiful natural scenery. ItineraryDay 1: Gulangyu Island- Nanputuo Temple-Huli Mountain FortStop At: Gulangyu Island, Siming District, Xiamen 361002 China
Meet your guide at your hotel lobby at your chosen departure time. Then your private driver will take you to the Wharf to take the 10-minute ferry to Gulang Island. When you board the ferry, you could sit on the second floor and overlook the endless sea from a height. Once ashore, absorb the island’s relaxed atmosphere and discover some of its prettiest spots. You will first walk along the coastline along the Gulangyu Island. Take a peaceful walk and admire the majesty of various old buildings before visiting Shuzhuang Garden, a beautiful seaside garden ,and inside it ,there is a famous Piano Museum with an extensive collection of unique pianos that would impress even the non-musicians. Enjoyed the walk on the bridge along the coast, with great view of the sea and surrounding landscape. Then take the ferry back to Xiamen Island.

Then enjoy a short car ride and arrive the Nanputuo Temple. The temple grounds includes multiple temples, gardens, lots of carvings, a beautiful representation of China's history. You can learn more about Buddhism and culture along the way up and get a sense of inner peace during visiting these well kept temples within.

Stop At: Huli Mountain Fort, No.2 Zengcuo'an, Siming District, Xiamen 361002 China
Follow your friendly guide and head to Huli Mountain Fort. It used to be a fort that overlook the waterway formed by Xiamen and mainland China. It was used during the Qing dynasty to prevent aggressors from landing into mainland and now is maintained as a heritage site for visitors to view the canons used and explore the layout of the fort. While most history in China is based in ancient times, this fortress tells its story of pre and post colonial times, opium wars and the small part it played in shaping this region of modern China. Take your time to read some of the plaques to get a better understanding. After that, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 2: Dongshan Island wind-moving stone-Dongmen IslandStop At: Dongshan Fengdongshi Scenic Spot, Dongshan County, Zhangzhou, China, 363401
Pick up at your hotel from Xiamen at your chosen departure time and take a 2.5-hour scenic car ride to Dongshan Island. Upon arrival, explore Dongshan Island Fengdong Rock firstly .It has always been the natural wonder of the people on the island and is regarded as a treasure. Dongshan Island wind-moving stone is famous for its strange, dangerous and hanging. The huge stone stands on the steep cliff. The top and bottom are round and shaped like Xiantao.
It's a big place with no commercial atmosphere. There are abundant cultural details like emperor temples and historical relics, such as Tongshan ancient city, old city gates. Blue sky, green water and white spray, walking in the scenic area is really a kind of enjoyment.

Then head to Dongmen Island. You will reach there by boat from the pier near the wind-driven stone scenic spot. Because of its unique coastline and numerous unique stones, coupled with its beautiful natural scenery, it has become a prime location for shooting movies and TV series such as "Journey to the West". It is the natural landscape that attracts TV and movie artists to Dongmenyu. There are breathtaking beaches and the lowest elevation temples Climbing the wind tower can see the whole island's scenery.
