Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar and take you to the Genghis Khan's Statue Complex, the hugest stainless steel statue of Genghis Khan on a horse in the world. It is extremely magnificent as 131 feet high, and you may feel the heroic spirit of the great monarch before the statue. Under the huge statue, there is a museum showing relics and nomadic culture. You can take the lift inside to the head of horse directly, where a special observatory is set for tourists to overlook the vast green grassland.

Afterwards, your guide will escort you to Terelj National Park. On the way, stopover in Ovoo, the rock pile on a hill that used to be a place for religious worship.

Terelj National Park is the highlight on this Ulaanbaatar day trip. It is a nice place to experience the beautiful natural scenery of Mongol, such as serried forests on hills, the clear river in valley, fantastic rocks, leisure horses on wide grassland, and dotted white Mongolian yurts. The best time to visit the park is summer as it's a great resort to avoid heat. The locals like to take a holiday on weekends there.

You will see the famous attractions in the park, such as Turtle Rock, Ariyabal Meditation Temple and have a visit at a herdsman's family. After that, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
