• Claudio will uncover and explain every step of the Parmigiano Reggiano making process
• Disposable gown and hygienic cap to visit the cheese factory will be provided

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Stazione Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana, Via Citta' del Tricolore 1 Zona Mancasale, 42124, Reggio Emilia Italy

At arrival, you will be provided a Traditional Reggiana Breakfast with coffee or cappuccino and croissant or the typical local pie “Erbazzone Reggiano” made of vegetables and Parmigiano.

You will also receive a lab coat and a cap for access to the production area.

Claudio will bring you along a complete tour to discover all the steps of Parmigiano Reggiano’s production.

Tour visit of a dairy
You’ll go into the cheese factory during milk processing and you'll witness in cooking and making cheese wheels. You’ll see then the process of salting and maturing up to enter the huge “caveau”, where thousands of cheeses wheels are guarded and laid out in long rows in the silent maturation rooms and where the scent of cheese smell so nice

Visit to a Cowshed
You’ll see where the animals are bred and where the milk is mould,and you will be able to caress the newborn calves
