Stop At: Zona Romantica, Puerto Vallarta Mexico

We'll visit the less touristy part of the neighborhood to visit family owned food spots, some which have only one item in their menu but cooked to perfection. They may not be too fancy but their food will make you come back.

Sample Menu

• Carnitas Crunchy Taco - An unexpected Taco where the 'stuffing' is actually outside of a crunchy tortilla topped with a mild tomato salsa and cabbage. 100% homemade.
• Carne Asada Quesadilla - Fresh tortillas made in front of you with Carne Asada (grilled steak) and cheese. Chose from an array of mild and hot salsas.
• Birria Tacos (two different presentations) - The most popular taco in the region. Try both presentations: soft tortilla taco + a crunchy taco. Taste and dip your tacos in Birria Consomé (broth).
• Seafood Tacos (two different tacos / tostada) - Depending on the day try a Jalapeño Seafood Popper Taco and a Shrimp on the Grill Taco or a Mahi Mahi Stick Taco and Smoked Marlin Tostada.
• Huarache - Thick and doughy tortilla in the shape of a shoe sole topped with different ingredients: chicken or steak, mild tomato sauce, fresh cream & cheese.
• Agave Spirit Shot Glass - ◆ Try one shot glass of a Mexican Agave Spirit (2oz)
◆ A different choice all the time of Tequila or Mezcal or Raicilla.
• Homemade fruit pospsicle or sorbet - ◆ Visit a mom & pop ice cream shop with a big array of flavors.
◆ Private large groups can choose from popsicle, sorbet, or homemade vanilla flan.
• Local drinks - Whenever possible you'll sample at least two local beverages to cool you down. One made with corn and another with coconut.
