The Grutas de Garcia Experience

This experience transcends a transportation tour. You will explore a world-class cavern, gaining insights into the formation of stalactites and stalagmites. Learn about the history of the Sea of Tethys unearthing fossils dating back over 60 million years. To get to the cave entrance the 40-minute hiking trail follows magnificent views of limestone rock and the aromas of diverse plant species, including Mesquite and Anacahuita, typical trees of Northeastern Mexico. Join our guides for a hike to Grutas de Garcia. Here you will explore a world class cave system where you will see hundreds of stalactites and stalagmites.

After the Caves you will visit the town of Garcia, where you will be able to visit main square and church, a traditional bakery and enjoy the different ice cream flavors.

We pickup in all accommodations within San Pedro, San Jerónimo, Obispado, and Macroplaza. If you are staying in a different location the meeting point is outside of Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Marco at downtown Monterrey (meeting point at the Dove Sculpture outside of the Museum).
