Our first stop is the 15th-century Palmela Castle, a historical gem perched atop a hill. The panorama will unfold before you, revealing the magnificent tapestry of land, sea, and sky. The commanding São Filipe Fortress, a 16th-century masterpiece with unparalleled vistas of the city, the majestic river, the endless ocean, and the rugged mountains of Arrábida awaits us next.

Lunch in Sesimbra, at Jungle restaurant (lunch not included; prices range from €15 to €35 depending on your preferences) is coming but before we ascend the village's hills to explore the Sesimbra Castle.
Post-lunch, we venture to Cape Espichel. A historic religious sanctuary graces this extraordinary landscape, and one of the oldest lighthouses in Portugal.
