THE PELION PENINSULA: Mythical 'Moutain of the centaurs' and designated 'Natura 2000' area of outstanding natural beauty with clean mountain air, ancient forest, pristine blue waters, & dotted with over 23 picture post-card 'stone villages' (location for the movie ‘mama mia’). We continue here by bike to enjoy one of Greece's most recognized areas of beauty. Our route is designed to get the most out of Pelion’s wonderful & unique mix of mountain, sea, forest, village & culture & includes an amazing day exploring one of the nearby islands along with a small boat cruise with swimming & snorkeling.
The program is thoughtfully designed with over 15 years of experience & carried out at each part by highly experienced English speaking professional guides.
ItineraryDay 1: PortariaStop At: Portaria, Portaria, Volos, Magnesia Region, Thessaly
Our biking experience starts with 4 to 5 hours of the most beautiful of Pelion's ‘paths of the centaurs’ & passes through five of its famous ‘stone villages’ Drakeia, Agios Lavrentios, Agios Georgios Pinakates, ending on the village of Milies (400m) deep in its ancient forest. check-in at Dryalos hotel. Milies is a beautiful village and we will visit the museum, the old train station, the old library and more. In the evening in the square, we will enjoy our dinner with Greek songs and why not some greek dance maybe !

Day 2: LAFKOSStop At: Lafkos, Lafkos, Magnesia Region, Thessaly
We continue our route with amazing scenery throughout passing along the way the villages of Neohori, Argalasti and Siki visit a local winery, and many attractions and end at the village Lafkos (320m). a traditional village that has not touched by the time and all are rolling calm and pure like many years ago. The “Lagou Raxi” hotel is a fantastic place and the pool will help us to relax. At the magnificent square will enjoy our dinner and if we wish will visit the seaside village Milina for a little nightlife !

Day 3: PelionStop At: Trikeri 370 09, Greece
Our scenic route overlooks the sea of about 4 hours to reach the Alogoporos where we receive our luggage & leave our bikes, catching our ferry to Trikeri island a place without roads, cars, noise & pollution. We explore some of the many quiet beaches & old trails & visit the island monastery & one of the island's most beautiful sites. The hotel will stay is close to the sea and next to traditional taverns offering fresh fish and seafood. In the evening the party will end up late by eating, drinking, dancing and singing!
