- Cabo da Roca, the western most point of continental Europe, a breathtaking viewpoint over the Atlantic Ocean. (stop 15/20 minutes)

- Continue from Sintra’s mountain range to the sea side, driving along the coast to the town of Cascais. Visit Cascais (stop 30 minutes)

The Santa Marta Lighthouse in the town of Cascais sits poised on the cliff top, above a small, secluded beach. This was also the old lighthouse keeper's residence.

The town of Cascais is known for its sunny weather, sandy beaches and busy marina. The historic center is home to the medieval Fortaleza da Nossa Senhora da Luz and the Palácio da Cidadela, a former royal retreat.
