Shared Tour of Geiranger from Hellesylt

You will experience a fantastic bus tour through a landscape of majestic mountains, gorgeous waterfalls, and beautiful lakes. One of our experienced guides will give you all the information about Geiranger and the UNESCO World Heritage area.

On our way to Geiranger, we will pass the beautiful lake of Oppstryn and take a short break at Jostedalsbreen Nasjonalparksenter. We will also make a short photo stop at the Øvstefossen Waterfall. You’ll reach four highlights: Flydalsjuvet, the spectacular Djupvatn Lake, the top of the famous mountain Dalsnibba at an altitude of 1500 m above sea level, and the spectacular Eagle Bend with great views of the Geiranger village, the Geirangerfjord and the Seven Sisters Waterfall.

The tour includes the drive up the serpentine Eagle Road with great photo opportunities of the Geirangerfjord. Finally, we will start the return back to Hellesylt where your cruise ship will be waiting.

Stop At: Jostedalsbreen National Park Centre, Fosnes Oppstryn, Stryn 6799 Norway

On our way to Geiranger, we will pass the beautiful lake of Oppstryn and take a short break at Jostedalsbreen Nasjonalparksenter, where you can learn more about glaciers.

Djupvatn Lake - photo stop. Spectacular mountain lake. It lies at an altitude of 1030 meters above sea level and is at least 188 meters deep. The lake is normally covered with ice, depending on the temperature and the season, the ice usually melts around mid of June/July.

Stop At: Geiranger Skywalk - Dalsnibba, Geiranger, Stranda 6216 Norway

Majestic mountain with the highest fjord view from a road. It is located at the end of the Geiranger valley, approx. 22 kilometers south of the village of Geiranger and the Geirangerfjorden.The peak has an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level.

Majestic views overlooking the Geirangerfjord. One of Norway’s most photographed tourist icons. When visiting Geiranger, this is the definitive must-see!

The 11 hairpin bend serpentine road ascends to the Eagle Bend offering great views of the fjord and photo opportunities of the Seven Sisters Waterfalls.
