This national park is less crowded from tourist so you can inspire with wild animal behaviors in a pleasant manner. In the afternoon encounter with a group of Veddas the indigenous people lives within the boundary of Maduru Oya National Park and enjoy with them till the evening. Then we will come back to Pasikuda before night

Maduru Oya National Park is a gem among the tourist destination in Sri Lanka. The park was declared in on 9th November 1983 as a National Park and stretches 8,849 hectares in content is located in the dry zone.

Maduru Oya National Park is one of the less crowded National Park in Sri Lanka but also the park home of wild elephant habitat. Other than wild Elephants there are wild animals as such Leopards, Sloth Bears, Sambhur, Spotted and Barking Deer, Wild Boar and Wild Buffalo.
