You will be taken to the city’s most beautiful places, guided by a local English-speaking professional photographer. During the tour I will capture your magical moments in Kanazawa, leaving you free to take in the sights without worrying about the best angles and light, or asking a stranger to take your picture! Stop At: Higashi Chaya District, 1 Chome Higashiyama, Kanazawa 920-0831 Ishikawa Prefecture

Chaya is a traditional place of feasts and entertainment, where Japan’s famous geishas have been entertaining people through dances and playing traditional musical instruments since the Edo period. Higashiyama is the biggest chaya district in Kanazawa, and provides the opportunity for a glimpse into Japan’s rich cultural past. Great location for photo shoot session.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Kazuemachi Chayagai, Kazuemachi, Kanazawa 920-0902 Ishikawa Prefecture

Short walk from Higashi chaya district. Very historical part of Kanazawa and provides the opportunity for a glimpse into Japan’s rich cultural past. Another great location for photo shoot session.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Oyama Shrine, 11-1 Oyama-machi, Kanazawa 920-0918 Ishikawa Prefecture

Visit 400 years old Oyama jinjya shrine and unique stained glass gate designed by Dutch architect

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Nezumitamon, 1-1 Marunouchi, Kanazawa 920-0937 Ishikawa Prefecture

Restored Nezumitamon Bridge was one of the largest wooden bridges on the castle grounds, crossing over the water-filled moat

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Gyokusen-immaru Garden, 3 Marunouchi, Kanazawa 920-0937 Ishikawa Prefecture

Stroll in peaceful Gyokusenin Maru garden and enjoy stunning illumination show.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Mt. Utatsu, Wakamatsumachi, Kanazawa 920-1165 Ishikawa Prefecture

Surrounded by mountains to the east, and the ocean to the west, Kanazawa is a thriving city by day and night. A beautiful cityscape can be captured atop Utatsuyama mountain, although this spot offers the best views of Kanazawa at sunset, with stunning night views of the city lights.
