This riveting Alpine adventure will begin with a picturesque train ride up Gornergrat, a rocky ridge in the Pennine Alps that’s surrounded by 29 mountain peaks. During this moment, stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes can be enjoyed, including the idyllic Swiss town of Zermatt and the grand face of Matterhorn (subject to weather conditions).
During this part of the tour, the guide will illuminate you with historical information about the construction and cultural significance of the Gornergrat Bahn, the first electric rack railway in Switzerland. Upon reaching the top of Gornergrat, you’ll reach a vantage point where multiple peaks of the exquisite Monta-Rosa region will be visible, as well as the Dufourspitze mountain, which is Switzerland’s highest peak, and the Matterhorn. While soaking up the refreshing mountain air and delightful Alpine surroundings, the guide will provide insight into the region's history and natural landscapes.

Our guide will then lead you to several mountainous viewpoints before reaching the Glacier Palace, where they will share intriguing facts about the region’s heritage and history. Elevated at 3,883 meters, you’ll reach the mountain station before ascending further via the summit lift.
