Cartagena Gourmet: Cooking Class with a View, Elegance & Flavor

With the help of a local Chef you will discover Cartagena's flavours. In this workshop you will roll up your sleeves, put on an apron and cook. Joins us and discover the Chef inside you!

In the workshop we will spend an amazing time where you will roll up your sleeves and will learn how to prepare some typical local dishes.

At your arrival you will try agua de panela, a typical local refreshing drink. You will be then introduced to the local ingredients and the dishes that we will prepare. We have different menus depending on the OPTION you choose. From Cartagena classics menus such as Topside beef or red snapper to Ceviche or Seafood stew menus.

During the course you will also learn how to fillet a fish; recognize the quality of ingredients when buying them; and some other cooking tips that will make your friends and family’s jaws drop.

You also have the OPTION to book a Market tour + Cooking class.

• Mote de queso - White soup made of yam and local cheese.
• Posta negra cartagenera (Black Topside beef) - Served with coconut rice, plantains in temptation and avocado ají.
• Tree tomato in syrup.
